CLIENT BRIEF - (Goals & Ambitions)

• To develop and add further value to their existing Pendlewood playground equipment by providing a safe and secure play space that is attractively presented and has a variety of activity challenges with an appreciation of the current outdoor natural environment and layout.

EXISTING FACILITIES

• The concrete playground areas have some floor painted puzzles and markings.
• The grass field playground area consists of uninteresting and empty open play space.
• Worn looking steps construction with minimal hand rail support leading to classroom door entrance.
• As an existing customer of Pendlewood they already have the following products: Mystical Storyteller Chair, Saturn Storyteller Bench and Planters.

DISCUSSION IDEAS

• Include amphitheatre for outdoor activity to stimulate children in the natural outdoor environment
• Cage area for multi-use sports activities to develop team building skills.
• Additional Storyteller Chair for encourage role play/interaction and dreaming.
• Chalk Board for children to be ‘let loose’ and be creative to allow artistic expression.Communal bench/seating areas to provide rest areas and encourage social networking
