Brentnall Community Primary School – The project included a Billie Goats Gruff activity play structure, traversing wall, enchanted archway, bark pathways, assorted fencing, storyteller areas, dolphin sculptures, and a Kew 1 outside classroom.
Chris Marriott, headteacher, had this to say:
“The children think it is wonderful. We have a creative installation as part of our outdoor education activities, to create learning environments that are free of walls, such as the Kew area. These activities help pupils to develop their imagination/ personal and social development. Being in nature, opens up possibilities and creative thinking. The teachers are as excited as the pupils. I think all schools should have one“. |
