Learning Outside the Classroom

Learning outside the Classroom has become a vital part of a child's education.

The government's recent ‘Learning outside the Classroom' Manifesto has stressed that teaching outside the classroom is beneficial for children - and is not some optional educational extra.

Ed Balls, Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families, recently said: "Learning outside the classroom is not some optional extra. Getting outside of the classroom should be part and parcel of school life and is vital to making young people independent, confident and self reliant".
