Natural School Playgrounds - School Playground Equipment

Ideal for outdoor science and nature teaching, the mini beast area fits in well with the government's ‘Learning outside the Classroom Manifesto'.

The unique and imaginative concept consists of an area of space filled with bark and woodland logs and comes complete with timber log edgings.

The logs are usually pieces of timber that have been felled as part of a pruning program or that have fallen off a tree so they still have the bark on them. As the bark decays this along with the bark chippings encourages termites and insects - the Mini Beasts - into the area, adding more excitement to an already extremely interesting product!
