The Sandpit Ship is an exciting and imaginative option that encourages exploratory play.
It is a design that is based on a ship, complete with a sandpit on the deck where children can role play and dig away while developing their hand and eye coordination.
The play ship design also allows this sandpit to act as a seating area, while there is also an area in which plants can be placed, which will introduce nature to the ship, which is ideal for natural science lessons.
Sandpit Ship is handmade from sustainable redwood. This timber is especially suitable for schools as it is low maintenance and less prone to splinters than hardwoods. All fixings are exterior grade and plugged to deter vandalism.
The Lid is made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) Plastic.
