Redwood Timber: (Pinus sylvestris)

Our products are made from Europoean Redwood. This wood meets with our criteria, regarding environmental issues and longevity. This is one of the hardest softwoods available and is suitable for exterior usage. With its natural resilience the introduction of Tanalith E helps this timber have a greater life span than some hardwoods with out the environmental implications associated with exotic hardwoods.
Redwood timber is fully grown in 50 years. Harvested from sustainable forests and replanted in half the time it takes a Hardwood tree to reach maturity.

Tanalith E Pressure Treated Timber

Tanalith E conforms to the efficacy requirements of BS EN 599-1:19997, and is treated in accordance with the penetration and retention guidance given in BS EN 351-1:1996 to give a desired service life in the selected hazard class as defined in BS EN 335-1:11992. The treated timber that Pendlewood supply is pressure treated Tanalith E

RoofPendlewoods 32 mm 5 wall athermic opal roofing structure

Resistance to breakage: Although light in weight, our polycarbonate sheets are approx. 200 times stronger than glass and virtually unbreakable when subjected to heavy storms, hailstones or falls of ice and snow.

Resistance to weathering: Pendlewood 32mm 5 wall has a UV absorber co-extruded onto the outer surface of the sheet. This forms a barrier against UV radiation, and ensures exceptional resistance to ageing without effecting the sheets’ mechanical properties or impact strength.

Excellent fire performance: Pendlewood 32 mm 5 wall is classed as self-extinguishing. It does not emit poisonous toxic gas and complies with European standards.

Pendlewood roof system GUARANTEE

Pendlewood Multiwall is co-extruded with UV absorber on the outer surface of the sheet forming a barrier against UV radiation. The entire Multiwall range carries a limited 10 year guarantee against yellowing, aging and is resistance to hailstones. Full details are available on request.

All our fixings are rust proofed. All fixings are enclosed to reduce the attentions of vandals.
